The Oil and Gas Regulation that never should have been changed
Posted by 2011wd in Economic Policy, Energy Conservation is JOB 1, Energy Policy on May 29, 2010
There are reasons for most regulations. Protections, oversights, safe guards, all designed to keep the worst from taking place.
This one oil and gas regulation is extremely important and somehow it managed to get changed. Sad but true. No doubt the very first regulation that must be put back on the rule books.
Who’s to blame for the oil spill? http://bit.ly/aGfaqU

All to save $500K per B.O.P. Should Minerals Management Service (MMS), changed this before now? Of course they should have and everyone in that department should know that by now. EVERYONE.

Fed completed the sale of 1.5B shares for $6.2B. They also reported they would be selling another 1.5B shares before June 30th. http://bit.ly/bzatNU
If they manage to get our money back on this bank bailout it will be nothing short of a miracle. They could not get out fast enough for our taste.
Probe should target more than 6 Wall Street firms:

Just as we read, AIG is getting off scott free after needing a $187B bailout, reports are out that say there will be a probe of 6 Wall Street Firms. The greed, corruption, & lies that have gone on for the past 9 years has a number attached to it but it is far to bizarre to talk about here. Since We the People, via the Fed, now own AIG, I guess we can let it just start making money and pay us back. So if you and I go out here and lose $187B, you think we could get off scott free too? What a laugh. Is this place RIGGED. Try not paying a speeding ticket and see what happens to you.
IT is time to clean out the bankster party in both the house and the senate. They think these latest reforms they have put in place are tough enough. Let’s show them how tough we really want them to be when we vote everyone of the bankster party out of office. The time for change in this country is now.
When and if, we do get the people’s party in power, Let’s work to make sure everyone is treated equal in the future. It’s called Economic Justice.

She was young & yet she changed conflict forever. http://www.civicworldwide.org/ She is missed. Human rights is a major part of leadership. Effective leadership is best done during a very long productive life. Please be careful. Leaders are not easy to come by. Not leaders like this.

http://bit.ly/cg2pn2 Europe being their number one market. As imports into Europe get slammed, China becomes the international trader holding excess inventory. Excess inventory in a down market is like excess building capacity in a down R.E. Market. China would have BOTH. http://bit.ly/cdt9NC China did not expect this level of deflation. Few did.

http://bit.ly/bcaCIu Others have another name for the company. Green washing can backfire when you’re not real careful.
http://bit.ly/cXmRpa Energy companies will care about going green soon enough. They will have no choice. In the meantime they will need to be far more careful in the future. A $200M PR effort is nothing more than a total waste of money. They are fooling no one. This does not mean they can’t advance in alternative energy solutions. In fact now they have far more reason to do so. Perhaps best done under new leadership.
The politics of banking reform. Major reform or Vote them out of office!

http://huff.to/c3btZy It is time to forget parties in this country and start voting for people that care about the people of America and not the The Powers That be. TPTB.
There is only the People’s Party and the Bankster’s Party NOW.

How Rigged is energy trading? How did Banksters get into energy trading?

Until the fuels are cheaper at the pump, these wholesale energy numbers mean nothing to consumers or business. If prices are not coming down at the retail level the rest is just window dressing padding the pockets of WHO?
When did energy trading become such a GIANT SCREW JOB? Who started this SCAM in the first place? How did they do it? Who bank rolled them? How did the Banksters get into Energy Trading? How Rigged is Energy Trading?
Why does all this matter?
There is no real economic recovery without lower prices at the pump! Without an economic recovery that is real there is no new development. Green Sustainable Energy Projects will simply remain on the drawing boards & real alternatives to oil & natural gas will be limited to misguided BTL projects that should never be funded in the first place.
The Green Sustainable Future is defeated before it is started by mountains of money going into the pockets of the energy traders and the Banksters, while consumers and business fight to stay afloat.
CDO’s are just the tip of the iceberg… http://bit.ly/bDNEjb It seems the PROBE dealing with Banksters must start somewhere. This is not where we would start. We would start with energy trading.
96-0 Senate Vote!!!! Left, Center, Right!!! America wants Tough Banking Reform!!!
Posted by 2011wd in Blowing the F#*@ing Whistle, Corruption, Greed, Justice, Power to the People on May 12, 2010
This nation doesn’t come together on anything all that often. We are together now. Even the Senators can see it and they don’t want to be on the wrong side of the people NOW. No matter how long they have been around, they could be voted out on this issue.
The time is long past due to restore the National TRUST. The question now is how will it be done and who is going to PUSH to see it gets done RIGHT? It is no longer if you’re for bank reform or not. It is a matter of how hard are you going to fight for the protective rights of the people.
http://bit.ly/a3PRjl Everyone has different ideas…
http://bit.ly/ccY8a8 Some are demanding ACTION NOW. There is a way that this should be done. The design of which is not easy to craft. One thing is now certain. The whole Nation wants banking reform. The question now becomes who is willing to make it TOUGH ENOUGH?
Run Banksters!!!! Run!!!!
For our part, everything has stopped down here. All efforts have been put on hold until these “Too Big to Fail” Banks are seen for WHO & WHAT they are. Regarding that effort. We found this interesting. http://bit.ly/ay3Wrx
